PALACE OF GOLD PUBLIC ROSE GARDEN
WEST VIRGINIA
There's nothing quite
like a visit to the Palace of Gold's public rose garden during the
summer months. It's hard to say which is more striking, the vast sea
of All America Rose colors, or the sweet fragrance that permeates
the air.
If you love roses, you owe it to yourself to visit this fantastic
West Virginia rose garden that is so well set against the
intricately
ornate Palace of Gold. And the admission to the rose garden is free!
During this photo visit in July 2008, we captured images to
help wet your appetite for the timeless beauty of roses. We
couldn't bottle the fragrance, so you'll have to use your
imagination or visit the rose garden yourself.
This garden is predominantly planted with All-America Selections, so
you'll see many of the best roses from recent years. The
Palace of Gold public rose garden is located in the panhandle of
West Virginia, 11 miles east of Moundsville, WV off scenic Route
250. |
