Recycling dates are set up to facilitate Peters Township residents in the disposal of bulky items not included in the curbside collection program. Typically, these are:

  • Phone Books
  • Magazines
  • Catalogs
  • Flattened corrugated cardboard

In December and April, additional items accepted include vehicle batteries, scrap metal, tires, televisions, computers and computer monitors and printers. A fee applies to some items.

Annual "Clean-up Day" is set up to collect trash around Peters Township.  This is much like the "adopt a highway" programs to increase the aesthetic quality of Peters Township.
