Pittsburgh Pennsylvania hosted its 25th Vintage Grand Prix in 2007 with a 10-day event that included two weekends of racing. The first weekend included eight groups of competition at the BeaveRun Motorsports Complex north of Pittsburgh. The second weekend consisted of six competition groups in the Schenley Park Vintage Races.
   
Other events included a Kick-Off Rallye on Craig Street in Oakland, the Black Tie & Tailpipes event at Oakmont Country Club, an Invitational Car Show on Walnut Street in Shadyside, a Jeff Gordon appearance in Homestead, a Car Cruise at the Waterfront, the Downtown Pittsburgh Parade & Car Display,  and a Grand Prix Tune-Up at Bossa Nova.
   
Schenley Park was the site for the American, Asian, British, German and Italian Car Shows, as well as the Larry Smith Memorial Car Show. The Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association hosted British Car Day, and the PVGP Thunder Run motorcycle event celebrated its 7th year.

Group 1 - Formula Vee and Sports Racers
Open wheel, front engine Formula Ford, Formula Vee, and select sports racers, 500cc (VRG Classes B3, B4, B5, B6, D3)
Group 2 - American Ground Pounders and Big/Medium Bore
1960-72 Production cars over 2.5 Litres including Camaro, Cobra, Corvette, Datsun, GT40, Mustang, and Porsche (VRG Classes F1, F2)
Group 3 - Small Bore Production
Pre-1960 Production cars under 2.0 Litres, 1960-72 Production cars under 1.0 Litre, and conservatively prepared race cars. Elva, MG TV, Porsche Speedster, Triumph, and Turner (VRG Classes A1, A2, A3, G2)
Group 4 - BMW/Porsche Challenge
Late model and historic. Porsche GT3, 911 and 914. BMW 2002, 325, 328 and M3.
Group 5 - Medium Bore Production and pre-1960 Big-Bore
Pre-1960 over 2.0 Litres, 1960-72 Production cars between 1.0-1.6 Litres. Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Jaguar, MG Midget, Maserati, and Mini-Cooper.
Group 6 - Open Wheel and Sports Racers
Open wheel, rear engine racers, select sports racers post-1960. Crossle, Elva, Formula Ford, Lotus, Merlyn and Royale (VRG Classes B1, B2, B7, E2, E3)
Group 7 - 1960-72 Production 1.6 - 2.5 Litres
European sports cars. Alfa Romeo, MGB, Triumph, TR4, Porsche 911/914 (VRG Classes C1, C4)
Group 8 - Spridget Reunion
Austin-Healey Sprites and MG Midgets

Group 1 - Pre-War (Pre-1941)
Cars that ran at the 24-hour LeMans in England and France. Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Fraser-Nash, and Maserati.
Group 2 - Post War Sports Cars (under 1.0 Litre and Preservation)
Small bore cars manufactured after WW2. Bandini, Fiat-Abarth, Osca and Turner.
Group 3 - Sports Racers & Formula Cars
Production sports cars modified to dedicated racers. Formula Juniors are small, open-wheeled race cars. Cooper, Elva, Lola, Lotus and Stanguellini.
Group 4 - Under 2.0 Litre & Preservation (Pre-1960)
Mostly cars built from 1944-1960. AC, Alfa Romeo, MG, Morgan, Porsche and Triumph.
Group 5 - Over 2.0 Litre (Pre-1960)
Exciting, fast models. AC, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Jaguar.
Group 6 - Small Bore thru 1965, Modified & H-Production
Austin Healey, Jaguar, Lotus, Mini-Cooper, Saab and Triumph (Not a VSCCA class)
