Steelers Training Camp

Since it was already late July when the NFL owner's lockout was finally resolved, training camp, and the entire football season for that matter, was an uncertainty right up to the last minute. The Steelers were able to schedule their usual training camp at Saint Vincent College without any delays or glitches. We visited Steelers training camp on the 4th full day of practice and captured the photos you see below. This camp marks the beginning of Mike Tomlin's 5th year as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Suggested items for fans to take along: Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, wide-brimmed hat, a blanket to sit on, snacks, sunscreen, and folding chairs. Non-alcoholic beverages - no alcohol permitted. Be sure to get a roster on your way in from the parking lot so you can identify the players. If you intend to get Steelers autographs, you'll need a pen and an item to be autographed. Autographs are more likely to be granted after practice sessions. There is an autograph session preceding the night practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium.
