STEELERS
2007 TRAINING CAMP
Chuck Noll Field
St. Vincent College
CAMP TOMLIN
August 8, 2007 - It was just yesterday
that a
Pittsburgh weatherman reported the highest dew point (72) in the past
twenty years. Today promised to be only slightly better.
Fortunately there was an occasional breeze blowing across Steelers'
practice at the newly
dedicated Chuck Noll Field.
Today marked the 16th day of the 2007 Training Camp, becoming known
for its physical, two-a-day practices. If the Steelers' first
pre-season game three days ago was any indication, the extra work helped
bring home Coach Tomlin's first NFL win as a head coach.
Shortly after parking in a large field, we met an avid Steelers fan from Florida.
Steve Kaminski was driving the MEN OF STEEL pick-up truck,
which drew frequent adulations from passing Steeler fans. Below are
some photos of Steve's truck along with my photos of the 41st
Annual Steelers Training Camp at St Vincent's College in Latrobe.
