Bethel Township was chartered in 1886. In 1946 the township was renamed Bethel Borough and by 1960 the name was finally changed to Bethel Park.Located in southern Allegheny County, Bethel Park is approximately 10 miles south of Pittsburgh, covering 11.7 square miles. In 1978, Bethel Park became a Home Rule Community. |
