Ireland Vacation
Our Aer Lingus flight landed at Shannon Airport in Ireland, and our first stop was the Cliffs of Mohr.
We traveled through County Galway along pastures bordered
with stone walls, passing old castles and
quaint Irish homesteads.
This area of Ireland is famous for the Blarney Stone and Ring of Kerry,
with
Iron Age Forts, Ogham Stones, and old Monasteries.
In County Clare we passed
through Kinvara and visited the Burren. We considered a roundabout to
Dublin and a
visit to Northern Ireland to check our Irish ancestry. Erin Go Bragh!
