The USC defensive tsunami completely overwhelmed a Liberty offense, that was averaging 40 points per game all season, by holding them to zero points and no 1st downs during the first three quarters of play.

The Panthers' offensive locomotive featured textbook blocking that sprung Dane 'D-Train' Conwell loose for 169 yards rushing (5.6 yards per carry) and five touchdowns.

Coach Render savored his first State Championship since 1989 along with a spotless 16-0 season. Congratulations to the Upper St Clair Panthers' team, staff and supporters on a perfect season!

Everett "played to the whistle" as he was always taught by linebackers coach John Travato, and made a special teams touchdown that coaches will talk about for decades.  After time had expired in the 2nd quarter, Everett alertly picked up a live football that hadn't been downed by the State College punting team, and returned it 60-yards for a touchdown.
